Dr. Norman Sinkler Walsh, author of Plantations, Pineland Villages, Pinopolis and Its People.
Norman Sinkler Walsh, a retired surgeon, grew up in Pinopolis when it was , in many ways, still like a pineland village in the nineteenth century. Plantations, Pineland Villages, Pinopolis and Its People is about the rise and fall of culture over a 150-year span.
