Who Uses the Library Anymore???

Last fiscal year (July 1st, 2008 through June 30th, 2009) Berkeley County Library System staff checked out 590,175 items to its customers. That is more than half a million books, music cds, audios books, dvds, etc. Wow! It is an increase over the previous fiscal year of 30.47%.

The number of people actually coming into the branches increased by 25.33%. Four hundred and ninety-six-thousand-nine-hundred-and-thirteen people came visited the library's six locations.

Fifteen thousand more people used the library's computers.
