Most Downloaded audiobooks from our Jasmine Digital Consortium i.e. Overdrive

Most Downloaded Books from the Library’ for June 2010 from our Jasmine Digital Library Consortium/Overdrive service.

Stieg Larsson’s “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” was the most downloaded adult fiction audiobook for the second consecutive month, while the eBook topped the adult fiction chart for the first time. “The Girl Who Played with Fire” and “The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest,” the second and third Millennium Trilogy novels, also soared on the adult fiction lists. Janet Evanovich’s “Sizzling Sixteen,” Justin Halpern’s “Sh*t My Dad Says,” Richelle Mead’s “Vampire Academy” and Stephenie Meyer’s “Eclipse” were also among the most downloaded books from the library in June.

The ‘Most Downloaded Books from the Library’ lists are organized by subject and format, and compiled based on activity at more than 11,000 libraries in the OverDrive global network. how does it work? do you get the books for a certain period of time? or forever? :-)

Yes,the downloaded items have an expiration date. Once that has passed, you delete them from your device.
