5th Annual Harvest Tour of Homes on DI Library

Saturday, October 6           1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Fifth Annual Daniel Island Harvest Home Tour again features four varied homes.  Located in four diverse neighborhoods, the tour homes will provide guests the opportunity to view a home in a new neighborhood on the Wando River and a townhome in the established Center Park neighborhood.  On the Daniel Island Park side, there is a classic custom home on the golf course, and a spacious home for a young family.

As another feature of the event, each home will host a local author who will be signing copies of his or her books. This year’s authors are Brad Crowther, author of Charleston mystery The Ninth Man; local executive chef, Frank McMahon, author of Cool Inside: Hank’s Seafood Restaurant; Nicole Seitz, author of Lowcountry romance Beyond Molasses Creek; and children’s authors Megan Waldrep and Melissa Nelson, authors of Spice and Little Sugar, a story about big and little sister rivalry. The authors will sell and sign their books and will be on hand to lend a “literary” feel to the tour.
