South Carolina Department of Transportation partners with libraries to get feedback from citizens

Public involvement from a transportation planning perspective is very important. SCDOT wants all of South Carolina's citizens to have an opportunity to review and comment on projects that may impact their communities during our "open comment period." Their goal is to ensure that those historically underserved by the transportation system, including minority and low-income populations, are included in our outreach.
